Job summary

Bass Pro Shops in Memphis, TN is seeking a part-time Cashier to accurately ring up merchandise at the POS, greet customers, and provide friendly service.

You will assist customers with product questions, promote membership programs, stock and straighten displays, and help ensure a legendary experience for every guest.

Candidates should have a High School diploma or equivalent and be comfortable handling cash and operating the POS.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Ability to calculate discounts and make change.
• Professional and friendly communication with customers and associates.
• Ability to build relationships with management and customers.
• Ability to operate a computerized POS register system.

Responsibilities

• Check out customer's merchandise via POS registers.
• Greet customers and provide friendly service.
• Stock and straighten shelves when not ringing up.
• Promote programs including CLUB Membership, VOC and In-Store Pick-up.
