Job summary

Bass Pro Shops in the United States is seeking a part-time cashier to checkout merchandise and provide friendly service at the POS. You will greet customers, assist with buying decisions, and promote CLUB Membership and in-store pickup.

The role requires a High School diploma or equivalent and the ability to operate a POS system, handle cash, and maintain tidy shelves and displays. This is a part-time, on-site position with employee benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to calculate discounts and make change.
• Friendly and professional communication with customers and associates.
• Establish and maintain effective working relationships with management, coworkers and customers.
• Operate computerized POS register system.

Responsibilities

• Greet and acknowledge customers in a prompt and friendly manner.
• Assist customers in making buying decisions by identifying needs and providing product recommendations.
• Promote programs including CLUB Membership, VOC and In-Store Pick-up.
• Stock and straighten shelves and pegs when not ringing up merchandise.
• Provide a legendary customer experience by supporting store operations as needed.
• All other duties as assigned.
