Job summary

Zaxby’s is hiring cashiers to be the first point of contact for guests. You will take and enter orders, handle payments, and help keep dining areas clean while delivering excellent service with urgency. The role emphasizes friendliness, accuracy, and teamwork in a fast‑paced restaurant environment.

Ideal candidates are at least 16 years old and able to work a minimum of 9 hours per week, with the stamina to stand, walk, and lift as needed during shifts. Prior experience is not required.

Responsibilities

• Take and enter orders, handle payments.
• Keep the dining room and other guest areas clean.
• Provide friendly, enthusiastic service for all guests.
• Greet guests as they enter and thank them as they leave.
• Accurately complete orders and guest transactions.
• Enter guest orders into the point of sale system.
• Accept payments, operate cash registers, and maintain receipts.
• Maintain a clean, safe, welcoming environment.
