Job summary

Zaxby's is seeking a friendly Cashier to be the first contact for guests. You will take and enter orders, process payments, keep dining areas clean, and deliver fast, accurate service following standard operating procedures with urgency.

You will greet guests, explain menu items, promote promotions, and represent the Zaxby's brand with enthusiasm. This non-exempt role reports to store leadership and requires the ability to stand for long periods and lift modest weights while maintaining a safe,

Qualifications

• Sit, stand, and walk continuously
• Occasionally stoop, bend, crouch, or climb, including the use of ladders
• Frequently lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 pounds, including lifting overhead
• Communicate proficiently through speech, reading, and writing
• Maintain effective audio-visual perception and judgement to observe and respond to the environment
• Work in an environment with temperature variations and exposure to food allergens
• Operate and work safely with restaurant equipment

Responsibilities

• Take and enter guest orders accurately into indoor and outdoor POS systems
• Accept payments, operate cash registers, and expedite digital orders
• Handle cash payments, count tills, and record totals
• Keep dining areas clean and stocked with supplies
• Prepare menu items according to company standards and safety guidelines
• Assist with kitchen and back-of-house tasks as assigned
• Provide friendly, enthusiastic service and promote current promotions
