Job summary

WingStop in Suffolk, VA is seeking a friendly cashier to assist guests and kitchen staff. You will take orders, process payments, upsell menu items, and ensure accuracy and speed in a fast-paced environment.

This role requires Food Handler Certification and strong interpersonal skills. You will balance the cash drawer, maintain a clean front of house, and contribute to a positive WingStop experience for every guest.

Qualifications

• Food Handler Certification required.
• Cash handling and POS experience preferred.
• Experience in fast-paced restaurant environment is a plus.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Reliable, professional, and able to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome customers entering the restaurant.
• Take orders in-person and over the phone; upsell and maintain knowledge of menu and sauces.
• Process cash, credit card and gift card transactions.
• Balance the register at the end of the shift.
• Assist in keeping Front of House clean and stocked.
• Answer customer questions and provide menu recommendations.
• Handle complaints by directing to the manager when needed.
• Ensure orders are prepared accurately and delivered promptly to guests.
