Job summary

Bass Pro Shops in Idaho is seeking a part-time Cashier to ring up merchandise on POS registers, greet customers, and provide friendly service while keeping the sales floor stocked.

You will answer questions, recommend products, promote CLUB Membership and in-store pickup, and handle cash and change accurately. Starting pay ranges from $17.00 to $19.75 per hour, with benefits including discounts and 401k.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to calculate figures such as discounts and make change.
• Ability to communicate in a friendly and professional manner to customers and other associates.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with management, coworkers and customers.
• Ability to operate computerized POS register system.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide friendly, prompt service at the checkout.
• Process transactions accurately and handle cash/change.
• Answer questions and recommend products to customers.
• Keep shelves organized and assist with in-store pickup and membership programs.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
