Job summary

Bass Pro Shops is seeking a friendly Cashier to efficiently ring up merchandise at the POS, greet customers, and provide prompt, helpful service. You will stay knowledgeable about products and assist shoppers with buying decisions while promoting CLUB Membership and in-store pickup.

Additionally, you will help stock shelves and support store operations as needed, delivering a legendary customer experience every time.

Qualifications

• Ability to calculate figures such as discounts and make change to customers.
• Ability to communicate in a friendly and professional manner to customers and associates.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with management, coworkers and customers.

Responsibilities

• Check out customer's merchandise through the POS registers.
• Greet and acknowledge customers in a prompt and friendly manner.
• Assist customers in making buying decisions by identifying needs and offering recommendations.
• Promote programs including CLUB Membership and In-Store Pick-up.
• Stock and straighten shelves in the area when not ringing up product.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
