Job summary

Bass Pro Shops is seeking a part-time Cashier in Auburn Hills, MI to handle checkout duties and assist customers with selections. You will greet shoppers, process transactions, and provide product recommendations to enhance the customer experience.

Responsibilities include stocking, maintaining display areas, and promoting membership programs while delivering friendly, knowledgeable service in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum Degree Required: High School education or equivalent experience.
• Ability to calculate figures such as discounts and make change.
• Ability to communicate in a friendly and professional manner to customers and associates.
• Ability to operate computerized Point of Sale register system.

Responsibilities

• Check out customers’ merchandise through the POS registers.
• Greet and acknowledge customers in a prompt and friendly manner.
• Provide product knowledge and assist customers in buying decisions.
• Stock and straighten shelves when not ringing up product.
• Promote programs including CLUB Membership, VOC and In-Store Pick-up.
