Job summary

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers at the check lane.
• Process transactions quickly, accurately, and efficiently.
• Understand POS system and handle various tenders (cash, card, snap, etc.) according to policy.
• Adhere to cash handling limits and loss prevention guidelines.
• Follow guidelines for restricted sale items (alcohol, tobacco, etc.).
• Report pricing discrepancies and stay current with ads and promotions.
• Adhere to food safety regulations and safety procedures.
• Create a welcoming environment and answer product questions.
• Work cooperatively in a fast-paced environment and manage conflicts calmly.
• Assist minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults as needed.
