Job summary

Valley View Casino & Hotel is seeking a dependable team member to support cleaning and stocking in assigned areas, with a focus on customer service and guest satisfaction. You will greet guests, assist with seating in the restaurant, and ensure accurate handling of comps and room charges.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, cash handling and customer service experience, and the ability to read and interpret guidelines. A valid gaming license and drug screening are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• One year of cash handling experience.
• One year of customer service experience.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as instructions, guidelines, policies and procedure manuals.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Ability to work with mathematical concepts and percentages.
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
• Must pass a drug screening and obtain Gaming License.

Responsibilities

• Support Valley View Casino & Hotel’s Standards of Excellence.
• Maintain positive guest relations and resolve guest complaints.
• Greet guests and seat them in the restaurant on a rotating basis.
• Handle concerns and questions from guests.
• Maintain count and balance of the till at shift start and end.
• Complete required paperwork for comps, coupons, and room charges.
• Provide clear directions to guests when needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
• Demonstrate high level of service delivery and prioritise guest needs.
• Adhere to performance standards, policies and procedures.
