Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers, providing visible, active service.
• Process transactions quickly, accurately, and efficiently at the checkout.
• Understand POS system and handle cash, checks, credit/debit, and loyalty offers per policy.
• Adhere to cash handling limits and loss-prevention guidelines.
• Follow guidelines for restricted sale items (Alcohol, Tobacco, DVDs).
• Maintain awareness of pricing discrepancies and report them.
• Follow policies for stamps, gift cards and coupons; stay current with ads.
• Comply with food safety regulations and safety procedures.
• Inspect equipment and report repairs to management; maintain a welcoming store environment.
