JobScore, Inc. in Coral Gables, FL is seeking a customer-facing server to greet guests, take orders, and handle payments with accuracy and courtesy. You will deliver beverages and meals, ensure order accuracy, and maintain a clean, efficient dining area.

Responsibilities include answering questions about the menu, bakery, and catering; handling refunds with manager approval; and assisting guests with any issues. Availability for early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays is required.

Qualifications

• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Well-organized with ability to take and place food and beverage orders accurately.
• Ability to follow all safe food handling procedures and sanitation practices.
• Ability to operate point-of-sale systems.

Responsabilités

• Greets incoming customers, answers phone calls, and customer questions and requests.
• Receive payment by cash, check, credit cards, vouchers, or automatic debits.
• Issue refunds, voids, or credits to customers with manager approval.
• Count money in cash drawers at the beginning of shifts to ensure that amounts are correct and that there is adequate change.
• Calculate total payments received during a time period and reconcile this with total sales.
• Prepares and serves hot and cold beverages, such as coffee, blended coffee, and tea, to patrons; correctly customizes orders as requested.
• Maintain clean and orderly checkout areas.
• Complete general cleaning duties such as clean tables, chairs, and floors. Remove dirty dishes, set tables, replenish supply of clean linens, silverware, glassware condiments & bread. Empty trash cans.
• Assist customers by providing information and resolving their complaints.
• Restocking and rolling silverware and assist with stocking stations.
• Answer questions related to drinks, menu, bakery and catering.
• Check with guests to make sure that they are enjoying their meals and be initiative-taking to correct any problem.
• Takes food and beverage orders and delivers them to the kitchen.
• Delivers food, beverages, condiments, and other requested items to customers.
• Ensures that food is prepared correctly and to customers satisfaction; returns incorrect or improperly cooked orders to kitchen.
• Collects plates and clears the table as customers finish their meals.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
