Hilton Indianapolis Hotel & Suites is seeking a Barista / Coffee Shop Attendant to enhance guest experience by preparing and serving specialty coffee drinks and promoting merchandise in the gift shop. You will greet guests, maintain a clean shop, and handle POS transactions in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements include a High School Diploma and 3–6 months café or retail experience, with emphasis on reliable cash handling and guest service.

Qualifications

• Must have strong customer service and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to multitask in a busy café environment.
• Attention to detail in beverage preparation, merchandising, and cash handling.
• Reliable and punctual with opening/closing procedures.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and provide information about food, beverages, merchandise, and hotel amenities.
• Prepare specialty coffee drinks following established recipes and operate coffee shop equipment safely.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the coffee shop, including equipment, displays, and floors.
• Restock and refresh merchandise and food displays to ensure inviting presentation.
• Open and close the coffee shop on time, following setup and closing procedures.
• Process all sales through Micros, ensuring accurate cash handling and adherence to procedures.
• Monitor inventory levels, communicate restocking needs, and assist management with ordering.
