Job summary

Mainsail Lodging & Development is seeking a Lobby Attendant/Housekeeping professional to maintain clean public areas and uphold Autograph Collection standards. You will interact with guests, support housekeeping, and assist in events to ensure a superior guest experience.

The role emphasizes hospitality, teamwork, and proactive service, with a focus on guest privacy, safety, and seamless operations across public spaces and elevator areas.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or higher is preferred or required.
• Experience in hospitality is preferred.
• Excellent customer service skills are essential.
• Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
• Comfort using tablets or iPads for daily tasks.

Responsibilities

• Acknowledge guests in public spaces with a warm, friendly greeting.
• Distribute items to the assigned housekeepers.
• Assist with banquet setup of tables and chairs.
• Address guests' special requests prior to arrival (e.g., foam pillows, extra towels).
• Maintain hallways, windowsills, door frames and baseboards free from dust.
• Sweep and/or vacuum hallways daily.
• Clean inside elevators and polish elevator tracks and landings.
• Restock and organize housekeeping carts daily.
• Follow scheduled shifts and adhere to break and lunch requirements.
• Perform deep cleaning on a rotational schedule.
• Assist in VIP arrivals and in-house operation coordination.
