The Chattanooga Zoo seeks a Guest Experience Attendant to provide friendly guest service across Zoo experiences, including trains, feedings, and events. You will greet guests, assist with activities, and help ensure safe, enjoyable visits.
Responsibilities include cashier duties, assisting with animal interactions, guiding guests along paths, and supporting setup and teardown for rentals and events. Prior cashier experience and a customer-focused attitude are preferred.
The Guest Experience Attendant position will rotate among the Chattanooga Zoo experiences including Zoo Choo Train, Giraffe Feedings, Petting Zoo, Carousel, Facility Rentals, Events, Birthday Parties and more. This position will provide excellent customer service to guests and visitors.

LICENSING & CERTIFICATIONS: None
Medium: Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 30 pounds of force frequently. This position requires standing, walking, climbing bending, stooping and lifting/holding a majority of the time
This position requires constant movement across zoo grounds for the majority of the workday. This position is routinely exposed to external elements which include heat/cold, wet/humid, dry/arid and extreme weather conditions. Personal protective equipment is frequently required. Attendants will be exposed to various allergens possibly including but not limited to pollen, grass/hay, dust, hair, dander, and nuts.
