Job summary

Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants is seeking a dedicated Housekeeping Associate to maintain the cleanliness and presentation of our hotel and deliver outstanding service to guests. You’ll act as an ambassador for the brand, crafting genuinely personal experiences that encourage guests to return.

The role calls for a passion for customer service, strong verbal communication, and basic writing skills, with flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma is preferred.
• 1 year of experience in customer service or similar position.
• Previous housekeeping experience is a plus.
• Passion for customer service and good verbal communication skills, basic writing skills.
• Flexible schedule, able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays when needed.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and appearance of the hotel, while providing amazing service to guests.
• Act as an advocate for the hotel, create ridiculously personal experiences, and develop relationships with guests to encourage return visits.
• Be a creator of memorable experiences for guests and ensure standards are met across public areas and guestrooms.
• Assist with housekeeping tasks including cleaning, restocking, and setting up rooms and meeting spaces as assigned.
• Handle guest requests promptly and courteously, returning lost items with proper documentation to the Housekeeping Department.
• May take on additional duties outside the core role as needed.
