Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores INC is hiring a Customer Service Associate in Ventura, CA for a part-time role. You will assist customers, handle transactions at the register, stock shelves, unload trucks, and maintain a clean store environment while providing friendly service to shoppers.

We value reliable, detail-oriented individuals with strong communication skills and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Previous retail or service experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. and meet demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks and stock replenishment.
• Ensure a clean, safe, and respectful environment for customers and staff.
• Perform store cleaning tasks and restocking bathrooms, floors, and trash.
• Other duties as assigned.
