Family Dollar in Johnsonburg, PA is seeking a Customer Service Associate to deliver a great shopping experience. You will assist customers, handle transactions at the cash register, and help keep the store stocked and clean.

The role requires good communication, teamwork, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Part-time hours are available; prior retail experience is preferred. We offer perks typical of a discount retailer and value a friendly, professional approach.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. and perform frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills are required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills are required.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills are required.

Responsabilités

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions while working assigned cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked, and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks, stock replenishment.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers and colleagues.
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the store, including bathrooms, floors, trash, and presentation.
• Other duties as assigned*.
