Job summary

Dollar Tree is seeking a Customer Service Associate in Houston, TX to deliver a great shopping experience. This part-time role includes assisting customers, processing transactions, and keeping the store well-stocked and clean.

You will also handle stocking, unloading merchandise, and maintain safety and professionalism in interactions with customers and teammates. A high school diploma is preferred and prior retail/service experience is highly valued.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment highly preferred
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents required
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs from floor to above shoulder height and frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills required
• Strong organizational and communication skills required
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills required

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations
• Manage sales transactions while working assigned cash register
• Maintain store cleanliness and restock merchandise
• Receive merchandise and unload trucks, stock replenishment per productivity standards
