Job summary

Family Dollar Stores Of Pennsylvania LLC in Aliquippa, PA is seeking a Customer Service Associate to deliver a great shopping experience. You will assist customers, handle sales transactions at the cash register, and help keep the store well-stocked and organized.

This role emphasizes safety, cash security, and professional interactions with customers and teammates. The position is part-time with responsibilities including unloading merchandise, stocking, cleaning, and supporting daily store

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills are required.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions while working assigned cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked, and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks, stock replenishment in accordance with productivity standards.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment while maintaining professional and friendly interactions with customers, associates, and leaders.
• Responsible for maintaining the cleanliness throughout the store, including cleaning and restocking bathrooms, sweeping and mopping floors, taking out the trash, and ensuring all areas are neat and presentable.
