Chevron Stations Inc. is hiring at our Apple Valley location to deliver outstanding guest service and operate in a fast-paced retail environment. You will perform POS transactions, manage cash, handle food preparation, maintain sanitation, and ensure safety and compliance while promoting store specials.

Qualifications

• Must be proficient in English to understand policies and communicate with customers and coworkers.
• Able to work a variety of hours including early mornings, evenings, weekends, nights, and holidays.
• Strong attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to handle challenging situations professionally with good judgement.
• Works well independently and in teams.
• Must have up-to-date food handling certificates where required by location.
• Cooking/Restaurant experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional guest service; greet and thank customers with eye contact.
• Conduct all POS activities accurately and safely per guidelines; handle multiple payment forms.
• Maintain cash drawer; perform cashier reconciliation at shift end.
• Clean indoor and outdoor areas; restock as needed.
• Prepare food and hot beverages; manage ExtraMile/KKC foodservice to maximize sales and minimize loss.
• Promote store specials and other marketing programs.
• Cross-check prices of delivered goods for accuracy.
• Distribute delivered goods; ensure shelves are full in retail and cooler areas.
• Observe local laws when activating and filling vehicle fuel tanks (where applicable).
• May perform other duties as assigned by management.
