Job summary

Global Partners LP is seeking a Guest Service Associate to deliver a top-notch guest experience and support store operations. You will greet guests, operate the POS system, and maintain cleanliness while coordinating with management for guest requests and vendor needs.

The role requires flexible hours, reliable transportation, and the ability to work in various temperatures. Full-time schedule available at our Boston-area stores.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service preferred.
• Ability to operate a cash register and handle transactions accurately.
• Willingness to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and provide an enjoyable shopping experience.
• Adhere to safety, security, quality, and store operations policies.
• Operate the point of sale per corporate standards; manage cash, lottery, and tobacco levels.
• Perform store housekeeping tasks (cleaning, dusting, sweeping, mopping, trash).
• Replenish products and maintain in-stock conditions.
• Communicate guest requests and vendor concerns to management.
• Check in external and internal vendors per guidelines.
• Support inventory checks and merchandising projects as assigned.
• Assist with onboarding and training of new hires.
