Job summary

Global Partners LP is seeking a Guest Service Associate in New York to provide a positive shopping experience and support store operations. You will handle the register, assist guests, perform housekeeping, and ensure inventory and safety standards are met.

You will also coordinate with management on guest needs, check in vendors, and support onboarding of new hires while contributing to a teams-first environment.

Qualifications

• Must be available to work flexible hours including days, nights, weekends and holidays.
• Ability to perform basic computer functions.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Ability to lift/carry up to 25 lbs.
• Ability to read/write/count accurately for required paperwork.
• Support new hire onboarding and training.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and provide an enjoyable shopping experience.
• Adhere to safety, security, quality and store operations policies.
• Operate the point of sale and manage cash, lottery, tobacco levels.
• Complete store housekeeping duties (cleaning, dusting, sweeping, mopping, trash).
• Replenish products and ensure in-stock conditions.
• Communicate guest requests and vendor concerns with management.
• Check in external and internal vendors per guidelines.
• Conduct gas tank inventory and merchandising projects.
• Complete other tasks as assigned by management.
