Job summary

Global Partners LP is seeking a Guest Service Associate to deliver top notch guest experiences while supporting a range of store tasks. The role emphasizes customer interaction, safety compliance, and efficient checkout processes in a busy retail setting.

You will greet guests, maintain in-stock conditions, manage POS operations, and assist with vendor check-ins and merchandising projects. Flexibility with hours and reliable transportation are required.

Qualifications

• Greet guests and provide a welcoming shopping experience.
• Able to perform basic computer functions and use POS systems.
• Must be available to work flexible hours including days, nights, weekends or holidays.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Lift/carry up to 25 lbs and work in various temperatures.
• Able to access all areas of the store and complete paperwork accurately.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and provide an enjoyable shopping experience for everyone.
• Adhere to safety, security, quality and store operations policies.
• Operate POS and maintain cash, lottery and tobacco levels.
• Complete all store housekeeping functions (cleaning, dusting, sweeping, etc.).
• Replenish products and supplies to keep in-stock conditions.
• Communicate with store management regarding guest requests and vendor concerns.
• Check in external and internal vendors per guidelines.
• Conduct gas tank inventory and merchandising projects assigned by management.
• Complete other tasks as assigned by management.
• Minors may ONLY use OSHA approved knives.
