Job summary

Global Partners LP in the United States seeks a Guest Service Associate to greet guests and ensure an enjoyable shopping experience while supporting store tasks.

You will operate the point of sale, replenish products, perform housekeeping, follow safety policies, and assist management with vendor coordination and daily operations.

Qualifications

• Must be available to work flexible hours including days, nights, weekends and holidays.
• Basic computer skills.
• Reliable transportation.
• Ability to work in varying temperatures, outside, cooler, etc.
• Ability to climb ladders & stairs, reach, bend, twist, stoop, kneel, crouch and lift/carry up to 25 lbs.
• Access to all areas of the store including selling floor, stock area, and register area.
• Perform duties of the job in a timely manner.
• You have the ability to count, read and write accurately to complete required paperwork.
• Support GSA new hire employee's onboarding and training.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and provide an enjoyable shopping experience.
• Adhere to safety, security, quality and store policies.
• Operate the point of sale and manage cash, lottery, tobacco levels.
• Complete all store housekeeping functions (cleaning, dusting, sweeping, mopping, trash).
• Replenish products and supplies to maintain in-stock conditions.
• Communicate with store management regarding guest requests and vendor concerns.
• Check in external and internal vendors per guidelines.
• Conduct gas tank inventory and merchandising projects as assigned.
• Complete other tasks as assigned by management.
