Job summary

City Winery is seeking a Service Assistant to help provide a clean, welcoming dining experience. You will support servers and bartenders, clear and reset tables, and ensure service areas are well-stocked and tidy. The role emphasizes guest satisfaction and adherence to sanitation standards.

Ideal candidates have 1+ year busser/runner experience in fast-paced settings and a strong customer-service mindset. Flexible shifts, including nights and weekends, are common in this role.

Qualifications

• 1+ year experience as a Busser or Runner in a fast-paced, high-volume service environment preferred.
• Strong work ethic and exceptional guest service skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Provide guest hospitality; clear, clean, and replenish tables and service areas.
• Aid waitstaff and bartenders as needed to perform guest related duties.
• Ensure polished and clean presentation of all areas.
• Prepare dining rooms for patrons including set-up, maintenance, and breakdown of the area within the shift time.
• Support servers by setting up and replenishing service stations and bus stations.
• Maintain service areas and clean up spills as needed.
• Fulfill guest dining requests and communicate needs to servers.
• Greet guests upon seating and fill water glasses.
• Adhere to sanitation and safety policies.
• Follow company policies and be ready to work at scheduled shift time in uniform.
