Job summary

Weis Markets is seeking an entry-level team member to support customer service and store cleanliness at our Manheim, PA location. The role involves greeting customers, helping with bags, and keeping parking lots and aisles safe and tidy.

Responsibilities include cart retrieval, loading assistance, cleaning tasks, and assisting cashiers as needed. Training is provided, with opportunities to contribute to community-focused activities.

Qualifications

• Greet customers cheerfully and provide assistance as needed to ensure quality service.
• Maintain safety by keeping entrances, exits and aisles clear and reporting hazards.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers as they enter and thank them as they leave.
• Retrieve and return shopping carts, ensure cleanliness of parking lot and store areas.
• Assist customers by loading groceries into vehicles if needed.
• Keep store and porch areas clean and free of debris.
• Follow safety protocols to prevent slip and fall hazards.
• Assist cashiers with bagging and respond to intercom pages.
• Operate cleaning equipment when trained and authorized.
• Notify management of repairs or supply needs.
• Cooperate with coworkers to ensure smooth store operation.
• May perform other duties as required.
