Qualifications

• Education and/or experience completed or working towards a High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
• No prior experience required.

Responsibilities

• Smiles and greets customers, answers customer questions and helps resolve customer concerns promptly, in a polite and professional manner.
• Operates front end scanning equipment and cash register and performs checkout procedures including bagging merchandise.
• Maintains accuracy during the transaction and proper cash handling.
• Maintains knowledge of weekly ads, marketing promotions and store layout to answer customer questions.
• Ensures sanitation in the department and adherence to health and OSHA requirements.
• Cooperates with coworkers and supervisors to ensure smooth function of department and store.
• Uses PPE as required.
• May assist in other departments.
