Job summary

CRAVE in Fargo, ND is seeking Wait Assistants to provide fast, friendly, hospitality-driven service in a lively dining environment.

You will assist servers, engage guests, and help maintain a clean, efficient dining room. Hours vary by business needs, with shifts starting as early as 10:00 AM and ending around 11:00 PM. Compensation ranges from $13.00 to $15.00 per hour, with a base of $14 and tipping.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work well with others and independently.
• Knowledge of proper etiquette for table clearing is a plus.
• Ability to organize and multi-task

Responsibilities

• Assist all levels of highly personalized, technical, warm, fun, efficient service.
• Work closely with Servers, Management and Guests to ensure a technically exceptional experience.
• Assist Servers in Food Delivery, Service of Guests, Table Maintenance, Hospitality-based Guest Experience.
• Carry dishes and other tableware to kitchens for cleaning.
• Clean and polish counters, shelves, walls, furniture, or equipment in food service areas.
• Clean up spilled food or drink or broken dishes and remove empty bottles and trash.
• Maintain specific side-work and ensure the total cleanliness and smooth operation of the restaurant.
• Able to interact with guests and staff in a friendly/fast manner.
• Treat guests in a manner to ensure their complete satisfaction. Always strive to exceed our guests' expectations.
• Report to work in a neat and clean uniform. Well-groomed hair and personal hygiene are essential.
• Work as a team with all CRAVE personnel in order to maintain an effective atmosphere and an efficient food and beverage service.
• Other duties as directed.
• This position starts at a base of $14 per hour and is a tipped position.
