Job summary

Kaskaid Hospitality in Minneapolis is seeking team-oriented staff to provide warm, efficient service in a fast-paced restaurant environment.

You will assist servers, help with guest interactions, and support the back-of-house with dish handling and cleaning. This hourly role includes opportunities for advancement and professional development within a cooperative team.

Responsibilities

• Assist all levels of highly personalized, technical, warm, fun, efficient service.
• Work closely with servers, management and guests to ensure a technically exceptional experience.
• Assist servers in food delivery, service of guests, table maintenance, hospitality based guest experience.
• Carry dishes and other tableware to kitchens for cleaning.
• Clean and polish counters, shelves, walls, furniture, or equipment in food service areas or other areas of restaurants.
• Clean up spilled food or drink or broken dishes and remove empty bottles and trash.
• Maintain specific side-work and ensure the total cleanliness and smooth operation of the restaurant.
• Interact with guests and staff in a friendly/fast manner.
• Treat guests to ensure their complete satisfaction. Always strive to exceed guests’ expectations.
• Report to work in a neat and clean uniform. Well-groomed hair and personal hygiene are essential.
• Work as a team with all CRAVE personnel to maintain an effective atmosphere and efficient food and beverage service.
• Other duties as directed.

Compensation

Base rate: $15.97 per hour. This position is a tipped position.

Knowledge and Skills

• Knowledge of proper etiquette for table clearing is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills.

Position Type / Expected Hours

This is an hourly paid position. Days and hours of work vary according to business hours and job requirements. Business operates seven (7) days a week; hours start as early as 8:00 AM and can go as late as 2:00 AM depending on the work required.
