Job summary

Out West Restaurant Group, the largest Outback Steakhouse franchisee in the United States, seeks an Outbacker Assistant to greet guests, seat them, and support servers in a fast-paced dining room.

You will deliver friendly hospitality, maintain cleanliness, assist with bussing and upselling, and ensure a memorable dining experience for every guest.

Responsibilities

• Greets incoming and departing Guests in a welcoming manner. Seats guests in the dining and bar areas, while ensuring a smooth handoff to service staff.
• Coordinates wait, and seats Guests with a sense of urgency.
• Always smiles and has genuine conversations with Guests.
• Demonstrates teamwork by supporting all areas of the restaurant as business needs arise.
• Commitment to food safety, cleanliness, job safety and sanitation standards.
• Busses tables, delivers food and supports the dining room, while ensuring every opportunity to WOW our guests is fulfilled.
• Will have a general knowledge of the food and drink menu and be able to recommend and upsell products.
• Answers the phone in a prompt and professional manner and directs calls.
• Leads the lobby experience for each Guest, following Outback hospitality standards.
• As a Servers Assistant, you will be assisting guests and supporting Servers by serving food and beverages, clearing and resetting tables, and ensuring a clean, welcoming dining environment.
