Job summary

Bass Pro Shops is seeking a friendly Greeter to welcome customers at the front of the store, handle merchandise with care, and provide information and directions. You will promote in-store programs and help ensure a smooth shopping experience.

The role requires a High School diploma or equivalent, strong communication and organizational skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment. This is a part-time, on-site position with opportunities to contribute to special events and

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Excellent organization and attention to detail.
Experience in a customer service environment.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Adaptable to new processes and procedures.
Self-motivated and able to work unsupervised.

Responsibilities

Greets all customers in a friendly, outgoing manner.
Promotes programs including CLUB Membership, VOC and In-Store Pickup.
Models brand standards and maintains professional appearance per dress code.
Checks in customer merchandise returns and vendor visitors.
Notifies customers of in-store events, sales, or promotions and distributes promotional materials.
Maintains a clean, safe entryway and work area for customers and Outfitters.
Facilitates guest check-in for firearms/weapons with appropriate personnel; greeter should not handle firearms.
