Weis Markets is seeking a store associate to greet customers, assist with loading groceries, and maintain a clean and safe shopping environment. You will help keep the parking area tidy, manage trash and recycling, and support cashiers as needed.

The role involves general cleaning tasks and reporting any safety issues to management. No prior experience is required; a high school diploma or GED is preferred.

Qualifications

• Education and/or experience completed or working towards a high school diploma or general education degree (GED).
• No prior experience required.

Responsabilités

• Greets customers in a cheerful manner as they enter the store and thanks them as they leave.
• Assists customers by loading groceries into vehicles when needed.
• Keeps parking lot, store vestibule and front-end clean and free of debris.
• Maintains trash and recycling receptacles on porch, empties and replaces bags as necessary.
• Sweeps, washes, mops and does general clean-up work.
• Cleans restrooms and break rooms, replenishes supplies, disposes of waste and keeps building and surrounding grounds in orderly condition.
• May operate cleaning equipment if trained.
• Notifies store management when repairs or maintenance is needed or when unsafe conditions are observed.
