Responsibilities

• Greets customers cheerfully and thanks them as they leave; answers questions to ensure quality service.
• Retrieves and manages all shopping carts, keeps area tidy and free of debris.
• Helps customers by loading groceries into vehicles.
• Keeps parking lot, vestibule and front-end clean; maintains trash/recycling
• Maintains safety by monitoring entrances/exits to prevent slip/trip hazards.
• Assists cashiers by bagging groceries; responds to intercom pages; cleans floors and rooms.
• Cleans restrooms and break rooms; replenishes supplies; disposes of waste.
• Operates cleaning equipment if trained; maintains equipment.
• Notifies management of repairs or unsafe conditions; seeks additional supplies as needed.
• Cooperates with coworkers to ensure smooth department/store operation; may perform other duties.
