Job summary

Compass Group USA in Auburn, Alabama is hiring for a full-time Customer Ambassador to greet guests, share samples, and support guest-facing marketing and wellness programs in a hospitality-focused environment. You will engage with customers daily, explain menu items, assist in selling, and help maintain attractive displays.

Previous customer service and food service experience are preferred, with training provided.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and ensure a high level of hospitality.
• Greet team members and ensure they have what they need to be successful.
• Relate customer concerns to supervisors for resolution.
• Ensure marketing, wellness and culinary programs are current and in place.
• Lead weekly promotions and programs for guests.
• Share best practices and recognize co-workers.
• Explain daily menu items clearly to customers.
• Assist in selling by communicating effectively with customers.
• Ensure display foods are merchandised attractively and served neatly.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
