Job summary

The Rose Gaming Resort is a premier gaming and entertainment complex located in Dumfries, Virginia. We are seeking a friendly Front Desk Clerk to greet guests, check them in, answer questions, and coordinate with housekeeping to ensure a smooth stay.

Ideal candidates will be 18+, have customer service or front desk experience, and be able to multitask in a fast-paced environment. This role involves basic cash handling and may require licenses in compliance with local regulations.

Qualifications

Must be at least 18 years old.
Previous customer service experience preferred.
Previous front desk experience preferred.
Good interpersonal communication skills in person and by phone.
Must be able to multitask, function in a professional manner under pressure from guests and supervisors.
The ability to lift, push and pull up to 25-50 pounds.

Responsibilities

Provide excellent customer service.
Greet and register guests via a centralized registration system.
Coordinate with housekeeping department as needed.
Handle cash and credit card transactions; maintain accurate paperwork as it relates to front office operations.
Resolve small issues as they arrive for guest.
Check and balance the daily figures, post room and tax charges on guest accounts.
Deliver items to guests as needed.
Perform other duties as assigned.
