Job summary

Marcus Hotels & Resorts, owner of Hilton Madison Monona Terrace, is seeking a Front Desk Clerk to deliver exceptional guest service in a fast-paced environment. You will manage front desk operations, check guests in/out, answer inquiries, and coordinate with teams to ensure a memorable stay.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous hotel or front desk experience is a plus, but not required.
• Basic to moderate computer skills and ability to input and retrieve information accurately.

Responsibilities

• Greeting guests upon arrival and departure.
• Checking guests in and out of rooms accurately and efficiently.
• Selecting appropriate room assignments based on guest needs.
• Responding to guest requests, questions, and concerns in person and by phone.
• Handling and documenting guest issues, escalating concerns to management as needed.
• Providing information about hotel amenities, outlets, services, and the local area.
• Answering phones promptly and professionally while inputting information into computer systems.
• Maintaining cash handling accuracy and personal house bank responsibilities.
• Assisting with luggage storage when necessary.
• Remaining calm and professional during busy periods or emergencies.
• Working with internal and external customers with tact and diplomacy.
• Performing additional duties or projects as assigned.
