Job summary

Hilton Madison Monona Terrace in Madison, Wisconsin, is seeking a detail-oriented Housekeeper to create a clean, comfortable stay for every guest in the heart of Madison. As a Room Attendant you will clean guest rooms within time standards, change linens, sanitize bathrooms, restock supplies, and report maintenance issues, all while maintaining a professional, welcoming demeanor.

Qualifications

• A positive attitude and a strong attention to detail.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and lift throughout your shift.
• Ability to lift and carry cleaning supplies and equipment.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Experience in housekeeping or hospitality preferred—but not required.
• Commitment to creating a warm, welcoming environment for all guests.

Responsibilities

• Clean and prepare guest rooms efficiently and thoroughly within assigned time standards
• Change bed linens, dust furniture, clean mirrors, and sanitize bathrooms and vanity areas
• Vacuum carpets and maintain cleaning equipment daily
• Restock housekeeping carts and closets with supplies as needed
• Report any maintenance issues, safety concerns, or lost and found items to your supervisor
• Follow all safety, key control, and uniform policies
• Assist with deep cleaning projects and special assignments
• Maintain a professional, courteous attitude while working in guest areas
