Job summary

Target is hiring a Guest Advocate in Gig Harbor to help guests with their shopping and answer questions. You will use handheld scanners, assist with checkout, stock merchandise, and ensure a clean, welcoming store environment for every guest.

This is a fast-paced, physically active role with a flexible schedule that may include nights, weekends and holidays. You should enjoy helping others, communicate clearly, stay calm under pressure, and work well in a team.

Qualifications

• Communicating effectively, including using positive language and attentive to guests needs.
• Welcoming and helpful attitude toward guests and other team members.
• Attention to detail while prioritizing tasks.
• Willing to educate guests and engage around products and services.
• Ability to communicate on multiple frequency devices and operate handheld scanners, and other technology equipment as directed.
• Work both independently and with a team.
• Capability to remain focused and composed in a fast-paced environment and accomplish multiple tasks within established timeframes.
• Resolve guest questions quickly on the spot.
