Job summary

Target in Pasadena is seeking a Guest Advocate to help guests, promote services, and create a welcoming shopping experience. This role emphasizes friendly interactions, problem solving, and promoting Target’s digital tools to enhance guest satisfaction.

You will greet guests, resolve issues, and assist with apps and loyalty programs while working with a team in a fast-paced environment. Training is provided and schedules can be flexible.

Qualifications

• Communicating effectively, including using positive language and attentive to guests needs
• Welcoming and helpful attitude toward guests and other team members
• Attention to detail while prioritizing tasks
• Willing to educate guests and engage around products and services
• Ability to communicate on multiple frequency devices and operate handheld scanners, and other technology equipment as directed
• Work both independently and with a team
• Capability to remain focused and composed in a fast-paced environment and accomplish multiple tasks within established timeframes
• Resolve guest questions quickly on the spot

• Create an Easy, Inspiring and Friendly guest experience by delivering on the following commitments: Greet guests and initiate a warm, helpful interaction
• Help guests find what they need and resolve issues to ensure a smooth, easy shopping experience
• End every guest transaction with a sincere thank you
• Actively support team efforts and assist peers while maintaining a positive attitude
• Adjust to business and guest needs to deliver an easy and inspiring guest experience
• Demonstrate a service culture that prioritizes the guest service experience by delivering the service standard
• Promote and explain the Target App features and loyalty programs
• Scan and bag items efficiently and in compliance with safety standards
• Work to minimize guest wait time while maintaining accuracy and service
