Job summary

Target is hiring a Guest Advocate in Austin to provide a welcoming guest experience, assist shoppers with inquiries, and support digital services such as the Target App and loyalty programs. You will greet guests, resolve issues, and help ensure fast, friendly checkout while maintaining store standards and safety.

The role emphasizes flexibility, teamwork, and a proactive, helpful attitude in a busy retail environment. Training is provided to build product knowledge and guest service skills.

Responsibilities

• Create an easy, inspiring, friendly guest experience.
• Greet guests and initiate warm interactions at 10ft and 4ft.
• Help guests find what they need and resolve issues.
• End transactions with a sincere thank you.
• Support peers and actions with positive attitude.
• Promote store promotions, benefits, and Target App usage.
• Inform guests about loyalty programs and assist with enrollment.
• Scan and bag items accurately and safely, following safety standards.
