Job summary

Target is looking for a Guest Advocate to welcome guests, assist with purchases, and resolve issues with a friendly, proactive approach. You will demonstrate strong teamwork, adaptability and a guest-first mindset in a busy store environment.

Responsibilities include greeting customers, helping them locate items, processing transactions, and explaining the Target App and loyalty programs. You’ll balance speed with accuracy while maintaining safety and cleanliness standards.

Qualifications

• Customer-facing role experience is preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically active environment.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to store processes and guest solutions.

Responsibilities

• Create an easy, inspiring and friendly guest experience by greeting and assisting guests.
• Help guests find products, resolve issues, and complete transactions smoothly.
• Promote and explain store services, promotions and loyalty programs to guests.
• Operate checkout operations accurately and support cash handling.
• Maintain a clean, organized workspace and assist teammates as needed.
