Job summary

ASM Global, the leader in privately managed public assembly facilities, has an opening for a Ticket Scanner serving the ASM Global/Caesars Superdome, Smoothie King Center, and Champions Square.

Responsibilities include greeting guests, verifying tickets or credentials, directing guests to the proper areas, granting admission to valid holders, and keeping lines moving efficiently while enforcing admission policies.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must successfully pass a criminal background check.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Able to read and understand written English.
• Able to distinguish colors of different credentials.
• Able to stand for long periods of time, up to 6 hours, and climb stairs.
• Able to tolerate various weather conditions and work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Greet each guest with a warm smile and greeting.
• Familiarize yourself with the ticket system for each event and credentials.
• Give directions to the appropriate area and seat locations.
• Grant admission to guests with valid tickets or credentials.
• Deny admission to unauthorized guests.
• Keep entry lines moving efficiently.
• Enforce smoking policy and direct guests to designated areas.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
