Job summary

The Stratford Wait Staff employee at VICARS LANDING is responsible for table service in the Stratford dining room, room tray set, minor food production and cleanliness of Stratford kitchen and dining room. The employee is responsible for following established policies and procedures regarding food service.

The Stratford Wait Staff employee is expected to maintain high standards of customer service, hygiene, and teamwork while adhering to posted rules and training schedules.

Qualifications

• There is no essential knowledge/skill/training specified for waitstaff position.

Responsibilities

• Takes orders, provides service, and requested items both graciously and courteously. Assists in maintaining a high level of customer service for our members and their guests. Sets up room trays for nursing staff to deliver to Members rooms.
• Abides by all established community policies, procedures, and rules, including attendance.
• Maintains established standards of personal hygiene and cleanliness. Always in appropriate uniforms.
• Attends in-service training and educational seminars as assigned.
• Maintains safe and sanitary conditions of work areas for employees as well as Members.
