Job summary

Stratford Wait Staff is seeking a courteous employee to provide table service in the Stratford dining room and assist with room tray setup. The role includes minor food production support and maintaining cleanliness in Stratford kitchen and dining areas.

JOB SUMMARYThe Stratford Wait Staff employee is responsible for table service in the Stratford dining room, room tray set, minor food production and cleanliness of Stratford kitchen and dining room. The employee is responsible for following established policies and procedures regarding food service.ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIESTakes orders, provides service, and requested items both graciously and courteously. Assists in maintaining a high level of customer service for our members and their guests. Sets up room trays for nursing staff to deliver to Members rooms.Abides by all established community policies, procedures, and rules, including attendance.Maintains established standards of personal hygiene and cleanliness. Always in appropriate uniforms.Attends in-service training and educational seminars as assigned.Maintains safe and sanitary conditions of work areas for employees as well as Members.Non-essential job functions:Responsible for setting tables and maintaining workstations according to Vicar's Landing policies and procedures. Employees must have excellent balance and be able to climb a ladder and walk around a roof. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 30 pounds and be able to work at heights. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close, distance, and peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus as well as work on a computer for extended periods of time. The employee must be able to communicate verbally with others on the phone or in person.
