Job summary

Vicar's Landing is seeking a Stratford Wait Staff member to provide table service in the Stratford dining room, prepare room trays for nursing staff, and assist with light food production while maintaining kitchen and dining room cleanliness.

The role requires following established policies and procedures regarding food service and delivering courteous, high-quality service to Members and guests.

Qualifications

• There is no essential knowledge/skill/training specified for waitstaff position.
• Must possess a fundamental understanding of hospitality, customer service, table service technique, personal hygiene, and professional appearance.

Responsibilities

• Takes orders, provides service, and assists with delivering items in a courteous manner.
• Maintains high level of customer service for members and guests.
• Sets up room trays for nursing staff to deliver to Members' rooms.
• Follows community policies, procedures, and rules including attendance.
• Maintains personal hygiene and a professional appearance in uniform.
• Attends in-service training and seminars as assigned.
• Maintains safe and sanitary work areas for employees and Members.
• Sets tables and maintains workstations per policies; keeps pace with duties.
• Communicates menu selections, specials, and requests clearly.
• Completes side work (salt/pepper, sugar containers, stock) timely.
