Job summary

Denny's is seeking a server to greet guests, seat them, and provide attentive service in a friendly, courteous manner. You will take and deliver orders, suggestively sell, handle payments, and assist other team members to ensure total guest satisfaction.

The role requires physical endurance for lifting andstanding, familiarity with a POS system, and the ability to maintain brand standards throughout the dining experience.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift and carry supplies up to 30 lbs.
• Ability to raise a tray weighing up to 25 lbs to shoulder height.
• Must have mobility to work in the dining area.
• Must be able to stand and walk for long shifts (4–8 hours).
• Must be able to operate a point of sale (POS) system.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and seat them promptly.
• Take and deliver orders and respond to guest requests.
• Suggestively sell to reach guest check targets.
• Handle cash, credit, and discounts accurately.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining area.
• Assist other service personnel as needed to ensure guest satisfaction.
