Job summary

Five Iron Golf is seeking a Server to enhance guest experiences across its sports bars, restaurants, and entertainment venues. You will guide guests through the menu, upsell where appropriate, and ensure timely, accurate service in a lively environment.

Responsibilities include taking orders, delivering food and drinks, maintaining knowledge of offerings, and upholding health and safety standards while contributing to a welcoming atmosphere. Nights and weekends are required.

Qualifications

• Server and hospitality experience encouraged but NOT required.
• Upbeat energy and enthusiasm.
• Positive attitude.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and work with a team.
• Ability to stand, walk, and bend for long periods of time.
• Ability to obtain proper licensing and certifications for the location.
• Proficient verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Follow Five Iron standards for guest engagement, including prompt drink service, upselling techniques, and contributing to a lively atmosphere
• Accurately take food and drink orders
• Serve food and beverages in a timely and courteous manner
• Maintain extensive knowledge of our food and beverage offerings. Present menus, answer questions about menu items, and make recommendations
• Monitor guests' experience and promptly address any concerns
• Use point-of-sale terminals to enter orders and process payments accurately
• Ensure the golf simulators, tables, chairs, and surrounding areas are clean and presentable
• Take pride in ensuring guests' enjoyment by actively checking in with guests throughout their booking to ensure satisfaction and promptly address any concerns
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of all of our technology, additional products, and promotions
• Follow all health and safety regulations regarding food handling, alcohol service, and cleanliness
• Verify guests' legal drinking age
• Assist with closing duties as needed
