Job summary

Five Iron Golf is seeking a personable Server to guide guests through menu options, deliver beverages, and enhance the dining and gaming experience. You will upsell items, maintain knowledge of promotions, and ensure guests are satisfied throughout their visit.

Role emphasizes teamwork in a fast-paced, in-person setting with lifting and standing requirements. Training includes health, safety, and accurate POS usage to process orders and payments.

Qualifications

• Hospitality experience encouraged but not required.
• Positive attitude and upbeat energy.
• Proficient verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods.
• Ability to obtain proper licensing and certifications for the location.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.

Responsibilities

• Follow Five Iron standards for guest engagement, including prompt drink service and upselling.
• Take food and drink orders accurately and enter them into POS.
• Serve food and beverages in a timely and courteous manner.
• Maintain knowledge of food, beverages, and promotions to answer questions and make recommendations.
• Monitor guest experience and promptly address concerns.
• Assist with closing duties as needed and ensure a clean, presentable space.

The Server at Five Iron Golf goes beyond simply taking orders, guiding guests through the menu and offering recommendations that elevate both the dining and gaming experience and the overall guest satisfaction, while also driving sales.

Responsibilities

• Follow Five Iron standards for guest engagement, including prompt drink service, upselling techniques, and contributing to a lively atmosphere

Required Qualifications:

• Server and/or hospitality experience encouraged but NOT required

• Ensure the golf simulators, tables, chairs, and surrounding areas are clean and presentable
• Take pride in ensuring guests' enjoyment by actively checking in with guests throughout their booking to ensure satisfaction and promptly address any concerns
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of all of our technology, additional products, and promotions
• Follow all health and safety regulations regarding food handling, alcohol service, and cleanliness
• Verify guests' legal drinking age
• Assist with closing duties as needed
