Job summary

Residence Inn Ontario by Highgate Hotels is seeking a House Attendant to maintain cleanliness and assist guests. Responsibilities include floor care, carpet and furniture cleaning, luggage assistance, Lost and Found handling, and guest service. Knowledge of emergency procedures and safe operation of hotel equipment is required.

The role supports guest satisfaction and requires the ability to lift, stand, and communicate effectively with team members and guests. Training provided.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 100 pounds occasionally and 50 pounds frequently.
• Ability to stand during the entire shift.
• Effective verbal and written communication with guests and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Buff marble floors daily to hotel standards.
• Shampoo carpets in public areas and furniture as needed.
• Assist guests with luggage in a friendly, efficient manner.
• Handle Lost and Found items per hotel standards.
• Clean guestrooms as required.
• Know and assist in all emergency procedures.
• Keep hotel equipment in proper working order.
• Store hotel equipment properly and complete special projects from the Housekeeping Manager.
• Ensure overall guest satisfaction.
